Embracing all that I am is AMAZING and learning to live from a heart centered place is life changing. It has allowed those around me to be fully themselves, knowing that I will love and accept them. It has allowed me the freedom to love every aspect of who I am completely with no hesitation and to trust my inner soul. It has allowed me to embrace a whole new part of myself.
For years I have been able to sense and feel people’s energy. At times I have been able to energetically help them and at other times I have been drained by whatever was going on with them on an energetic level. One of the things I am now excitedly working on is my Reiki Certifications. I had heard of Reiki years ago, I even attended a training on it, but didn’t really do anything with the information I received. I recently asked the Divine to lead me to a healing practitioner that would help me learn how to use Reiki to help myself and others. The universe immediately responded and provided me with an amazing teacher who is willing to teach me, certify me, and help me follow the call of my soul.
So I have had a lot of questions about what Reiki is, this is not an easy question to answer but I will do my best and if you have any questions please ask and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
What is Reiki?
It is a Japanese healing method that allows a practitioner to connect to Universal Energy. It is a spiritual/energetic healing practice that supports overall balance in mind, body, and spirit. My teacher uses the analogy of a lightning rod, a Reiki practitioner acts as a conductor for the Universal Energy, it flows through them to the recipient. Reiki Is, just as Energy Is. A Reiki practitioner is able to use intention to guide this energy for the highest and greatest good for themselves, their loved ones, or their client. The role of a Reiki practitioner is to facilitate healing by bringing the recipient’s energies into alignment.
Is Reiki a religion?
No, it is not, I believe it is spiritual in nature but is not based in any religion. You can incorporate it into a religious practice but it is available to all living beings regardless of spiritual belief or practices.
Lately I feel as if I am walking down a golden road, not because my life is perfect but rather I am living in alignment with my heart and soul. I trust that all things work together for my greatest and highest good. I am learning who I am and I am trusting myself.
